1. Time to program completion.
The following data were gathered on all students who graduated over the seven-year period between 2004 and 2010:
Total mean time to complete the program = 6.73 years
Total median time = 7.5 years

Mean for students entering at the Bachelor's level = 6.5 years |
Mean for students entering at the Master's level = 7.4 years |
The above data include both full-time (FT) and part-time (PT) students. Since most WSPP students attend PT, the above numbers relfect longer times to completion than would be the case for students who attend FT. Data below indicate time to completion for graduates separated by FT and PT status: |
Mean for FT students = 4.8 yrs. |
Mean for PT students = 6.8 yrs.
Mean for FT students entering at the Bachelor’s level = 5.4 yrs. |
Mean for PT students entering at the Bachelor’s level = 7.4 yrs. |
Mean for FT students entering at the Master’s level = 5.2 yrs. |
Mean for PT students entering at the Master’s level = 7.3 yrs. |
2. Program Costs
The per credit tuition cost for the 2011-2012 academic year is $825. A full-time student entering WSPP in the 2011-2012 academic year will pay a total of $31,350 during that year in tuition costs for 13 credits in each of the fall and spring semesters, plus 12 credits in the summer. In addition, there is a $50 technology fee per semester, plus a $50 materials fee for an assessment course taken in the spring semester. The first-year total, therefore, for a full-time student would be: $31,550.
Federal student loans are available and about 75% of our students receive student loans. In addition, two assistantships, one scholarship and five work study positions are available for advanced students.

5. Licensure
Of the 42 program graduates between 2002 and 2009, 34 (81%) have since become licensed as psychologists, nearly all in Wisconsin. Of the 8 graduates not licensed, 6 are employed in settings, e.g., schools, corrections, where licensure as a psychologist is not required for employment. The status of the other two graduates could not be verified.
