Students with Master's Degrees in Clinical Psychology
WSPP welcomes Master's degree prepared professionals to a shortened program. Students with a Master's degree in clinical psychology or its equivalent from a regionally accredited institution need only complete two (rather than three) years of academic coursework. Practicum requirements may also be reduced based on supervised clinical work completed in their Master's degree program. Since required coursework varies among different institutions, WSPP has set the following master's level courses as prerequisite to the post-master's program:
History & Systems of Psychology
Statistics
Personality Assessment
Research Methods
Cognitive Assessment
Master's prepared applicants will be required to complete any of these courses which they have not completed in their Master's degree program with grades of "B" or better. See Curriculum Post-Master's degree. (download Application for Admission Post-Master form)
