| We also recognize the increased interest on the part of psychologists to develop specialties in such areas as health psychology, neuropsychology, or geropsychology. Our awareness of existing and future interest in these fields of specialization is reflected in the variety of electives available to students.
Student requests for additional elective courses and advanced seminars are seriously considered. Some of these requests are then offered as electives on a rotating basis. Requests are generally made to the Dean by the Association of Professional Psychology Students (APPS) officers or representatives. If there is sufficient interest to ensure adequate enrollment, every effort is made to meet such requests. |
